Tech start-up Udrafter opens Edinburgh office after oversubscribed fundraising

Scottish tech start-up Udrafter - which provides a platform for micro-internships - is expanding into Edinburgh after a successful funding round.

The business - whose name is short for University Draft - was founded by brothers Luke and Daryll Morrow and launched in Aberdeen last year.

It closed its latest funding round 30 days early after it was oversubscribed and today opens a new office in the capital to target business in the central belt.

The Udrafter platform helps businesses to engage students looking for paid work experience on a projects from as short as two hours in length. It allows them to receive high-quality work at a relatively low cost and avoids tying up existing staff.
