With 33% of 2000 surveyed interviewers admitting they know within the first 90 seconds of the interview if they will recruit the candidate or not, first impressions are everything.
However it is often hard to know what to wear as you want to show your personality, whilst appearing confident and professional. Suits are always safe option but many young men do not have access to a suit or money to invest in one.
This is an issue currently being addressed by H&M. The marketing campaign ONE/SECOND/SUIT has been running since the 15th April and the concept is simple, free 24 hour suit rental to help young men searching for jobs.
“Job interviews can be a nerve-wracking experience, but we believe nothing should hold you back, least of all what you wear. The One/Second/Suit is ready-to-wear confidence. A signal to the world and a reminder to yourself that you’ve got what it takes,” Sara Spännar, head of marketing and communications at H&M

Finally always remember, 38% of surveyed employers didn't hire because of a lack of a smile, so remember if you look good, you feel good and it is always better to be over dressed then under-dressed.
